The Understanding
Field research on business practice in India.
The Understanding is an interview-based field research project in Delhi NCR. It documents how people build trust, make decisions, and work across cultural expectations in India’s business environment.
Selected under a Taiwan government-supported overseas fieldwork initiative, the project gathers first-hand observations from entrepreneurs, business owners, operators, executives, consultants, professional service providers, cross-border traders, investors, and business ecosystem participants.
The initiative supports practical international learning and cross-border understanding, bringing first-hand observations from overseas markets back into practical use for Taiwan. The findings will be developed into practical references for Taiwanese entrepreneurs, SMEs, and organizations interested in Taiwan–India business exchange.
